Back Bar 05:19
I don't know, where did the time go? I don't know, where did the time go? I'm running on the sand Sun in my eyes and it's summertime there's a swirling pack of seagulls dipping and diving fighting over something in the foam there's music in the air from a radio somewhere and cool breath of wind in my hair I don't know, where did the time go? moves so fast, once it moved so slow I don't know, where did the time go? we spent all night playing pool in the locked-down pub like we always did just the band and some friends a few regulars and loose ends the usual suspects on a Saturday night Rebecca and Queen Jane the Midnightly Club and Billy the Kid the guy who plays trombone in the kitchen getting stoned no one's coming in; no one's going home just the crack of the tables the rhythm of guitars it's always after hours after hours in the back bar I don't know, where did the time go? moves so fast, once it moved so slow I don't know, where did the time go? the kettle in my room stopped whistling last week unexpectedly eleven happy years three thousand cups of tea never once a murmur of complaint now it stares back at me with a look of self doubt and it sounds like it's coughing its little chrome heart out I don't know, where did the time go? moves so fast, once it moved so slow I don't know, where did the time go?

Some say we might escape despite the odds Some say these are the days before the storm Some say the globe is finished now the gods Have set the air conditioning too warm So shout about it from the tallest tower And march with endless anger in the street Invoke the wisdom of some higher power Forswear the lure of plastic, oil and meat If this is all, if this is all If this is all we're looking forward to If this is all we're looking forward to At least I get to do it all with you At least I get to do it all with you Who knows? Maybe some of it will stick These constant anaesthetics for the pain To staunch the blood from countless tiny pricks A desperate umbrella from the rain If this is all, if this is all If this is all we're looking forward to If this is all we're looking forward to At least I get to do it all with you At least I get to do it all with you

More Worms 01:33
The worms crawl out and the worms crawl in The worms that crawl in are lean and thin The ones that crawl out are fat and stout Your eyes fall in and your hair falls out Your brain comes tumbling down your snout And the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out They crawl all over your dirty snout Your chest caves in and your eyes pop out And your brain turns to sauerkraut They invite their friends, and their friends too They all come down to chew on you Be merry my friends be merry Be merry my friends be merry
